Welcome to ePustak. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the ePustak mobile application, website, and related services. By accessing or using ePustak, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility

  • You must comply with all applicable laws while using ePustak.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate account information.

2. User Account

  • You are responsible for all activities performed through your account.
  • You must not share your account with others.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

3. Digital Content

ePustak offers digital books in multiple formats of access:

  • Free Books
  • Paid Books
  • Monthly Rental Books
  • Lifetime Purchase Books
  • Subscription Access Books

Availability of books may change without prior notice due to licensing, publisher agreements, legal requirements, or technical reasons.

4. Subscription Services

Available subscription plans:

  • Weekly – ₹49
  • Monthly – ₹199
  • Yearly – ₹999
  • Subscriptions are billed through Google Play Billing.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account.
  • Subscription benefits remain available until the current billing period expires.

5. Individual Book Rental & Purchase

  • Users may rent individual books without purchasing a subscription.
  • Monthly rental provides access only for the selected rental period.
  • After the rental period ends, access to that book will automatically expire.
  • Lifetime Purchase provides a personal reading license for the purchased book while it remains available on the ePustak platform and your account remains active.

6. License

All books available on ePustak are licensed, not sold.

Purchasing or renting a book does not transfer ownership or copyright to the user.

Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to read digital content for personal use only.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Copy or reproduce any book.
  • Redistribute digital content.
  • Sell or resell books.
  • Upload books to other websites.
  • Share purchased content with unauthorized users.
  • Attempt to bypass app security or DRM protections.
  • Reverse engineer or modify the application.
  • Use automated tools to download content.

8. Advertisements

  • Advertisements may appear for free users.
  • Ads may appear on the Home Screen.
  • Ads may appear before opening eligible free books.
  • Premium subscribers receive an ad-free experience during their active subscription.

9. Intellectual Property

All books, graphics, logos, trademarks, designs, software, and content available through ePustak are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized use of any content is strictly prohibited.

10. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms.
  • Engage in piracy.
  • Attempt unauthorized access.
  • Abuse payment systems.
  • Misuse promotional offers.

11. Disclaimer

ePustak provides its services on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. While we strive to provide uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that the application will always operate without interruption or error.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ePustak shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the application or digital content.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published within the application and on our website. Continued use of ePustak after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Rajasthan, India.
